This is the story about a jew by the name of Jonathan (Elijah Woods) and his quest to solve an old family secret by travelling to the Ukraine to find the woman who saved his grandfather during the Nazi invasion.

Jonathan arrives in the Ukraine with basically only an old photograph of the woman he is looking for and the name of the company which will guide him during his quest, Heritage Tours.

The guide, Alex is a Michael Jackson obsessed American-wannabee playboy and with him he brings along both his assumed blind grandfather and his grandfathers "seeing eye bitch" dog called Sammy Davis Jr Jr.

What happens during this quest I will leave untold, but what I can say is that this is an utterly charming, funny (sometimes quirky), moving and poignant story!!

The perfect film for a rainy day and I loved every minute of it...

In my opinion, this is Elijah Woods best performance by far!
