The Whistleblower and the shame to be human

It has been roughly 45 minutes since I gazed upon the end credits of "The Whistleblower".....I could not read them (the end credits), but on the screen through the blur of my tears, allthough I could barely breathe from the violent emotional flooding, I could see that there were some letters and of course, could easily figure out that these were names of the people behind this movie..... The tears are dry now, but the sadness will remain as a dark print in my heart and the visuals will haunt me for a long time.

The tears were soon, probably only within three minutes from switching off the screen, accompanied by a massive rage, a sense of powerlessness and shame. Rage and powerlessness about the fact that these horrifying things, these crimes against humanity, happen RIGHT NOW all over the world and shame over the fact that the people committing these cruel, unspeakable acts, are not from some unknown, unfamiliar species whose brains we don't yet know enough about, but they are in fact humans. Humans, just like you and me. The shame also comes from understanding that so many people are aware, but choose to close their eyes...

How do they sleep at night? How do they breathe? How do they even begin to justify the sheer torture these women/girls/fellow human beings are put through for the sick and sadistic needs of pleasure or desire for money that seem to drive these heartless crimes? So many questions in my little aching head.....I can not even imagine what questions are in the heads and hearts of the victims.....

Watch the trailer:
Yes, I do urge you to see this film. It is, indeed, a great film and the acting performance of Rachel Weisz is nothing less than outstanding!! ....but this is not just another fiction flick, this is reality in most places of the world, all though not known or visible to most of us, but it is there.... So what I'm trying to say is that this is not just another movie recommendation....this is a call for action. How the hell can we stop this and what can I, as an individual, do to help????

"Borta bra men hemma bäst"

It's now been nearly two years since I moved away from Sweden, and all though it's normally quite easy for me to adapt, to stay positive and think ahead, some days this is really, really truly difficult.

If someone would ask me if I ever regret moving - there is no way I'd ever say yes!!
What is there to regret? I love living abroad!!
I love this feeling of complete independence!!
It toughens you up and makes you a stronger person. It gives you the feeling that you are in complete control of your own destiny and that YOU, and no one else, is at the steering-wheel
- windows down, full speed on open roads, stereo-blasting with your favourite music, wind in your hair!! A daily dosage of light adrenaline hitting you in a slow, steady stream.

....but then, there are times, not often, but like right this minutes, when this indepencece can also switch over to complete and utter loneliness (borderline style) and when it does - a wave of sadness so intense and so powerful washes over you and in that moment it is as if you realise exactly how small you are in this world. You don't stand a chance.....
All you can do is just close your eyes and let it pass by....because just like fear of the dark or the anticipation just before getting a shot at the doctors-office, you know that eventually, probably almost instantly or at LEAST shortly it will all pass by and you will again be back in that drivers-seat! Smiling...looking into that rear-view mirror thankful for all the things you've seen, feeling happy for and somewhat proud of yourself for daring to jump!

To all my wonderful friends and family back home: I miss you ❤ Always.....

You know that feeling!!?

..yeah, you know? That feeling of being connected to yourself, your mind, your heart and your soul? Vivid! Inspired! ♥

Why? Well maybe it was the iron slash vitamin B12 infusion I got at the doctors office this morning, or maybe it is the fact that I've had a very good day at work? Possibly (surely) it has a lot to do with spending some really happy days away from "reality" by being on holiday with my LOVE.... Or maybe (or should I say very likely ;)) it's also knowing that in two weeks time I will be going home HOME HOME HOME (!!!) ♥ for a week to spend some much needed time with people I love so dearly and miss so intensly ....daily ...constantly!? My friends and my family!!! ♥♥♥

Wow! What an incredibly powerful feeling it is when you have been away from the ones who are closest to your heart for 3-12 months and then knowing that you will FINALLY see eachother again! It is completely and utterly overwhelming emotions that simply takes over and spins you around! I can barely fall asleep...it makes me cry those really happy tears!! I have butterflies in my belly!
Anticipation... So much anticipation!!!

There is really no way for me to rank who I miss the most or why... I miss all my friends and everyone in my family, all in diffrent and unique ways ♥♥♥
....but this time going home will be a liiiiiiittle extra special... I will see my ex "niece and nephew in law" (Enzo & Nelly ♥♥♥) and their mother, my friend Patricia ♥ who I also miss so dearly!! There are truly no words that can describe how much I've missed them! I have known these kids their whole life up until one year ago.......and I haven't seen them since
(only in pictures). I can assure you that not many days have passed without that hurting a little...without that instant feeling of sadness in ones heart when you're missing someone so much that it litterally hurts......if you've ever felt it you will know what I'm talking about....and now I will get to spend 3 days with them! I can't wait!!! I am so excited that my ♥heart♥ is JUMPING!

Those are the feelings.....inspiration, anticipation, love, happiness and sadness - all wrapped up together in a biiiiiiiig bubble that is my heart....about to burst!! That's how I feel right now..........
I am going home!!

The ones I love are truly my world!!!
I hope you all know that and if you don't - then I am telling you now and will hopefully soon get a chance to tell you face to face; You are all unique, I love you ♥ and you mean the whole world to me!
...regardless if you are close to me and I see you almost every day or if you are miles and miles away...

To all of you; Take care of your hearts and your sweethearts!! ♥♥♥ You are the whole world to someone just as someone is the whole world to you.
